An impact statement is your chance to share who Nate was, how his death has affected you, and the lasting impact he had on your life—whether it’s something you learned from him or an experience that has stayed with you, or just generally who he was to you. If you didn’t know Nate personally but are close to a family member and have witnessed how his death has affected them, you can write about that instead.
